Our subject matter specialists have been working in the field of imported gas turbine engines repair for more than 7 years. There are the repair sites organized for two companies that had not previously repaired GTE manufactured by the "Zorya" – "Mashproekt". The technological repair processes and procedures were developed based on available equipment. The cooperative system with third-party manufacturers has been studied and elaborated to produce the spare parts, to replace original parts that are not available for import.
THE PROBLEMS OF IMPORTED GAS TURBINE ENGINES OPERATION
Currently, companies operating imported energy equipment have faced the clearly defined problems associated with the maintenance and repair of gas turbines. The regular process of import substitution inevitably entails the development of new production processes, as well as the creation or adaptation of the existing infrastructure of repair enterprises, and, as a result, the search and study of imported technologies, materials, etc. This process, in addition to financial support, requires certain time spending. With the wide experience in capital repairs of gas turbines, our company set out to study the production and technological processes of Siemens turbines and repair technologies as the primary task.
Such a strategy allows solving the problems of eliminating defects found in most parts, and for a short time to select materials of domestic production that are similar and equal to imported ones and have the same strength and mechanical properties.
